Sarah Limon Roel, born October 20, 1933 went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2017 at the age of 83. Her mother, Josie Limon and her grandmother, Emelia Perez precede her in death. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Rudy Roel, daughter, Helen Grindley and her granddaughter, Lacey Grindley. Sarah is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with lifelong friends and extended family. She loved spending time with family while also enjoyed making crafts, ceramics, crocheting, making flower arrangements and painting t-shirts. She retired from Kelly Air Force Base where she was a civilian employee until the final days of the Base. She will truly be missed. Family would like to extend a special thank you to all personnel to who assisted in the family’s care. A visitation will be on Monday May 8, 2017 at 5:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Trevino Funeral Home on 226 Cupples Rd. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Tuesday May 9, 2017 at 11:30 am for a Mass of Resurrection to be held at 12 Noon at St Jude Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam National Cemetery.
