Satara Richardson Askew, Sr. passed away on May 30, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on August 8, 1960 in Rabbat, Morocco. Satara was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Satara was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Hattie Richardson; and her siblings, Jeffery Richardson and Renita Graham. She is survived by her children, Jordan Askew (Courtney Butler), Satara Askew, Jr. (Joseph Chambliss), Joy Askew (Aileen Cahero); and her husband and oldest living friend, Ezell Askew.
A Memorial Service for her will be held on Saturday, June 24th at 10:00 am in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.
