October 25, 1977 - March 9, 2018
Scott D. Brockman, age 40, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas. Scotty will be remembered as the protector of feelings, the one who cared about others feelings and the creator of harmony. He was a perfectionist in everything he did. Flaws were not allowed. His laugh - which was often and full of life - lit up the room. Scotty was the big jokester and always got his victims. Everyone got the "flipped eyelids". His nephew and niece adored their Scoots and he adored them. He was the one who got them into silly string fights, water balloons, party poppers - he was the biggest kid there. Scotty enjoyed all kinds of music and movies. He and his dad shared a love of music, so did his brother and uncle. The biggest joy and happiest times were spent at the family's beloved ranch, The Feather. Scotty was a big hunter and could sit in a deer blind from sun up to sunset.
He was preceded in death by, his Nana and Papa, Herman Brockman and Gerry Brockman; and his uncle, Edward Ferebee. Scott is survived by his mother, Jeanette Brockman; father, Edward Brockman and his wife, Bonnie; grandparents, Robert and Martha Ferebee; sister, Suzanne Kennedy and husband, Brian; brother, Christopher Washington; sisters, Nichole Washington and Veronica Washington; nephew & niece, Luke and Mallory Kennedy; uncle, Robert Ferebee; and many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
