

Sharon Yon Ramos, known affectionately as Sharon by all who knew her, left this world on May 3rd, 2024, at the age of 45. Born on June 27th, 1978, in Orange County, Sharon's journey came to a peaceful end in San Antonio, Texas. Her life was a testament to her loving nature, her kind spirit, and her humorous outlook, which brought joy and laughter to everyone around her.
Sharon was the beloved wife of Ramiro R. Ramos and cherished daughter of Joseph Jaime and Chong Kim. She was also lovingly embraced by her stepmother, Josefina Jaime, and held dear by her mother-in-law, Hermila Zavala. Her brothers, James Jaime, and, Devin Jaime, her stepdaughter, Sabrina Ramos, her stepson, Matthew Ramos, and her adored grandson, Isaiah, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, will forever hold her memory in their hearts.
Professionally, Sharon was a dedicated and accomplished bus operator, known for her remarkable achievement of receiving the Million Mile Safety Award. Her skill and passion for her work were evident when she made history as the first female in Texas to win 2nd Place in the Bus Rodeo of 2011. In addition to her driving duties, Sharon served diligently as a maintenance clerk. Her commitment to her colleagues and her community led her to be elected as the Union Board Recording Secretary, a role in which she served with integrity and dedication.
Sharon's life was rich with interests and hobbies that reflected her vibrant personality. Whether it was engaging in a new adventure or mastering a familiar pastime, she approached each activity with enthusiasm and a sense of fun that was infectious. Her friends and family will fondly remember her laughter ringing out during gatherings and her warm presence that could light up any room.
Those who were fortunate enough to know Sharon will recall a woman who was the epitome of love and kindness. Her funny anecdotes and cheerful disposition were a source of comfort and happiness to all.
