Shirley Ann Smith Dixon went home to her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2013, following a lengthy illness. She was born August 16, 1934, in San Antonio, Texas, but lived in California most of her life.
She was married to and preceded in death by Paul Dixon and her parents, Lester and Amy Hood Smith.
She was devoted to her family and children and shared her Christian beliefs with everyone.
She is survived by her daughters, Georgia Ann Dixon of Houston, Paula (Albert) Zepeda; son, Paul Dixon, Jr.; sister, Amy Jo Baker (Harry); grandchildren, Christopher Zepeda (Monique) all of San Antonio, Ashley Dixon of Lake Jackson, Jayden Dixon; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and several cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
