Shirley Ann Even, age 77, was born on December 26, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky and left this world to join her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy, earned a B.A. in Education and M.A. in Education from the University of Louisville. She worked as a teacher and administrator with the Northside Independent School Districts Gifted and Talented Program between 1969 and 2006.
Shirley is preceded in death by her son, Charles Edward Even; her parents, James and Georgia Johnson; and her siblings, Mildred Yates; James Johnson, and Charles Johnson.
Shirley is survived by her husband, John Even; daughter, Juliet (Chris) Ray; son, Thomas (Gina) Even; sister, Jill Casey; brother, Robert Johnson, and grandchildren, Charlie (Katie) Ray, Samantha Ray, Luke Ray and Olivia Even.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 10 at 6:00PM, followed by the Rosary at 7:00PM at Porter Loring North. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, November 11 at 9:30AM at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.
