She was born on December 15, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Alice and Herbert Rittimann.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Howard, Jerry and Herbert Jr. (brothers), Betty Skeels(sister), Shirley Rittimann (sister-in-law) and Harold Skeels (brother-in-law). She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Andrew Foerster. She is also survived by her children: Tammy Groff (Pete), Keith Foerster (Cherie) and Andrea Foerster; grandchildren Cody and Casey Groff; brother Leroy Rittimann (LulaBell) and sister-in-law Sylvia Rittimann; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm - 2:00pm with service and burial to follow at 2:00pm on August 25, 2025. Funeral services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
