

Shirley LoBue, age 87, passed away peacefully of natural causes on January 5, 2026. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Ted and Charlotte Cleaver, she lived a life defined by her devotion to her family and her enduring kindness toward others.
In October 1960, she married the love of her life, Jackino LoBue. They shared 52 wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2012. She supported his military career as a Colonel in the United States Air Force with strength and selflessness. Together, they enjoyed a life filled with travel and golf and were deeply devoted to their family.
A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, Shirley found her greatest joy in the simple moments spent with those she loved and in her devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ. Her legacy of warmth, faith, and friendship will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Jack LoBue, and her son, Scott LoBue.
She is survived by her devoted son, Paul LoBue; her daughters-in-law, Ellen LoBue and Renee Dibble; her grandchildren, Trevor LoBue (Katie), Troy LoBue, Morgan Dignam (Cole), Dylan Hughes, and Devon Hughes; her great-grandchildren, Scottie and Jaxx LoBue; and her siblings, Susan and David Mathews, and Steven Cleaver.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 5201 Cross Timbers Road, Flower Mound, Texas 75022, on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be livestreamed at: St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church - Watch Mass Online (stphilipcc.org).
