Sid was a proud Army Veteran, who served as a helicopter mechanic. Outside the military he was a motorcycle and auto mechanic.
Sid loved racing motorcycles in his early years. He was creative and enjoyed working with his hands, which included wood working, leather tooling and making jewelry. He was musically gifted and enjoyed playing violin, piano and guitar. He enjoyed going to the rifle range and target practice. Sid also had a love for reading, fishing, bowling, card games, dominoes, astronomy, math and computer programming. He loved animals, which was evident by his many beloved pets and wildlife rescues, but he also was co-founder of an organization that was a sanctuary for exotic animals, including tigers, leopards and mountain lions.
Sid will be lovingly remembered for his affinity for practical jokes and pranks. He loved the Lord and was a faithful prayer warrior, and is now rejoicing with his Father above.
