Stanley was born in Waynesburg, KY, in 1941. He spent most of his life in the service of his country. He served in the Army and Air Force Reserves at Homestead AFB, FL. He spent twenty years in Federal service at Randolph AFB, TX. He retired and worked in the private sector. He was a dedicated employee who loved the challenges he was presented with.
Above all, he loved to explore the world with his family. Through his final days, he and his wife traveled the US with their German Shepherd, Willie, and their Golden Retriever, Abby. They kept him active with their long walks in the park. They will miss their dad.
Stan will be remembered by his loving wife of 48 years, Karen, his children Joshua (Rachel), Paul (Mary Ellen), Ursula (Cliff), Theresa (Jack), and Amy (Frank), his six grandchildren, and his two great-grandchildren. Stan was a wonderful husband and proud of all his children. There will be no memorial service. His final wish was to have his ashes spread over Biscayne Bay in Miami, FL.
