A life well-lived, now at peaceful rest.
A father, grandfather, a husband so dear,
A friend to many, always near.
He stood with pride, a country to serve,
In the USAF, he gave all he could deserve.
With the rank of Msgt, he soared high,
A patriot’s heart, beneath the wide sky.
Now reunited with those gone before,
Milbra (Mel) and James, his parents, he adores.
And Wanda, his love, now rests by his side,
Together in peace, with hearts open wide.
Survived by his children, strong and true,
Ronald and Leigh, Scott and Leann too.
Lance and Lisa, Morgan with Larry,
His family, his joy, his love so merry.
His grandchildren’s laughter, a cherished sound,
Hadleigh and Hayes, Eliza, Giselle all around.
Haley, Madison, and Collin, so bright,
Austin, Tyler, and Kayla, a future alight.
He cherished his travels with wife by his side,
On sandy beaches, where his heart would reside.
Oysters by dozens, the sun in his eyes,
Living life fully, under wide open skies.
To Pops, his friends were family too,
Loyal, steadfast, their love ever true.
With full military honors, he’s laid to rest,
A hero, a man who always gave his best.
So rest, dear Stephan, in the peace you’ve earned,
Your memory lives on, as we’ve all learned.
In every heart, you leave your mark,
A legacy of love that will forever spark.
Stephan is survived by his children, Ronald and Leigh, Scott and Leann, Lance and Lisa, and Morgan and Larry; grandchildren, Hadleigh and Hayes, Eliza, Giselle, Haley, Madison, Collin, Austin, Tyler and Kayla; brother, Jim Wright; sister, Janet James; and neighbors, Walter, Maritza, Diana, Emilio and Isabella Trevizo.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wanda; parents, Miera and James; and sister CPO7 USN Judy Corner who passed in 1992, hit by a car in Kentucky.
A visitation will take place at Porter Loring Mortuary West, on Friday, March 28, at 1:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m.
