Stuart A. Wallace

Stuart A. Wallace, age 44, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. Stuart was born in Rapid City, South Dakota to Jeff and Nancy Wallace. He spent most of his youth in Wyoming where he excelled in many sports, but was especially gifted in golf and basketball. He was very active in the Boy Scouts and reached the rank of Eagle Scout. He attended the University of Wyoming where he received bachelors and masters degrees in Chemical Engineering. It was there he met and married his wife of 20 years, Julie (Lowman) Wallace. Upon graduation, they moved to Utah where he started his lifelong career as an engineer providing environmental consulting to the United States Air Force and other federal agencies. As with all things he did, he was at the top of his field and recognized world wide. While in Utah, he had a daughter Josepha (Josie) and a son Taylor. For the past 6 years, the family has lived and worked in San Antonio, Texas. Upon moving he once said, "This feels like home." He was active in his community and very involved in his childrens activities, specifically soccer. He even served as President of the Board for his daughters soccer club (Atletico FC San Antonio). He is survived by his wife Julie; daughter Josepha; and son Taylor; parents Jeff and Nancy; brothers Cal and Greg; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
