

Sujan was born on September 10, 1965 in Hyderabad, India to Rosemary and Rayappa Maddela. He grew up and completed his schooling in Hyderabad, where he later married Sindhya Chandran on September 10, 1995. He studied and graduated from Nizam’s College – Osmania University with a Master’s in Computer Applications. He then built a long and successful career in IT, working as a Database Administrator and later as a Senior Data Engineer, most recently spending 20 years working at Capital Group.
Outside of work, Sujan loved traveling and watching sports with his sons, moments he truly cherished. A lifelong techie, he had an innovative mind and was always eager to learn about the latest technologies. He also was very passionate about music and enjoyed an extensive collection of classic rock. A devout Catholic, Sujan was an active and dedicated parishioner of his Church, Prince of Peace. Above all, he was a loving husband, devoted father, caring son, brother, uncle, and a dear friend to many.
Sujan is preceded in death by his father, Rayappa; his mother, Rosemary; and his brother, Arun.
Sujan is survived by his wife, Sindhya; his sons, Mridhul and Milin; and his siblings Pavan, Deva Priya and Veda Priya.
Visitation and a Rosary service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 5:30-8.00 PM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, followed by burial at Cordi-Marian Resurrection Cemetery.
Sujan’s family extends their sincere gratitude to all for their sympathy, love, and support during this difficult time. Sujan will be deeply missed, but forever remembered, by all.
