Sylvia Ann Gomez entered into her eternal rest on the loving arms of our Lord on October 30, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born on October 12, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas to Josephine Smith and Raymond Guevara. Sylvia lived a life full of joy, music, and love for her family and friends.
Sylvia had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures — from listening to her favorite songs to enjoying her beloved shows. She had a passion for music, especially 90s country and classic oldies, often filling her home with the comforting sound of her record player spinning familiar tunes. She was also an avid fan of The Flintstones, collecting cherished memorabilia over the years that always brought a smile to her face. She enjoyed watching westerns and novelas, never missing an episode of her favorites. Sylvia was also an active bowler and proud member of a local bowling league, where she shared laughter, camaraderie, and many memorable moments with friends.
Butterflies held a special place in her heart, a reflection of her gentle and joyful spirit.
Sylvia will be reunited in heaven with her parents, Josephine De Herrera, and Raymond Guevara.
