Sylvia Westerfield Lehrman left this world on January 13, 2013 at the age of 86. Auntie was an amazing woman who never gave up regardless of the obstacles – “No” was definitely not in her dictionary! Her parents, first husband, Elmer Westerfield, and second husband, Edmund Lehrman preceded her from this life. She is survived by her nieces, Iris Seals and husband, Arv and family; Nita Pomeroy and her fiancée, Don Friedrich, and family; Faye and Doyle Rogers (Brenham, TX) and families; and Karen and Arnie Bateman (Plano, TX). She will also be missed by her California cousins; her great-nephews, great-nieces; and many wonderful family members, friends, and neighbors who have all been supportive over the past few months. Honorary Pallbearers are Arvel Seals, Jr., Doyle Rogers, Doug Seals, Brian Seals, Eric Bronder, Don Friedrich, and Arnie Bateman.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please give a donation in Aunt’s name to a local, independent animal rescue group/organization in your town/county/state.
