

Sylvia Montemayor was a graduate of Lanier High School and was married to Andres Montemayor for 44 years. She was also a sister to nine brothers and sisters. Sylvia was a loving mother to Joe, Priscilla and David. She was a caring grandmother to Noah, Daniella and Sophia Rangel; Joseph and Martha Garcia; Belle and Lance McNabb; Eliza and Rudy Lopez; Christina Carcia; Stephanie and Melanie Lopez. Ashley and Kassim Sanchez; Shelby and Roman Gonzales; Maximo and April Carcia and Erica Garcia. Sylvia was also a Great Grandmother of 17; Alejandro, Logan, Liam, Starine, Julian, Makailynn, Summer, Serena, Mya, Gianna, Isaiah, Sierra, Kialen, Aden, Ethan, Damien, Ciovanni, Mario and Israel.
Sylvia enjoyed running and ran in several marathons. She was always up to date with the latest fashion and wore it with complete grace. Her smile was contagious and could light up the room whereever she was. She was full of love and always willing to help others. Her thoughtful ness went a long way on birthdays, graduations and on any event, she made it a point to never forget the people she cared dearly about. Sylvia was also a member of the Guadalupanas and had a strong faith in St. Jude. She is proceeded in death by her late husband Andres Montemayor and her parents Selma Espino and Atanacio Davila.
The family would like to praise the LORD for the length of time they were given with their loved one. In addition to this the family would like to offer a special thank you for being able to have her family and friends around her, we will be forever grateful.
