Tamara Scott Pitts, age 89, passed away in Lancaster, California on February 1, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
Tamara was born to Clarence Otto Scott and Anna Fern Archer Scott on December 7, 1925 in McAllen, Texas. Tamara was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Pitts, Sr. She is survived by her son, Donald E. Pitts, Jr. (Anita), of Austin, TX and four daughters, Deborah Pitts of Canoga Park, CA, Diane Pitts of Pensacola, FL, Donna Duran (Alfonso) of Rosamond, CA and Dorene Breazeale (Steve) of Brandon, MS; 9 grandchildren, Steven, John, Michael, Janessa, Nicholas, Julia, Rachel, Andrew and Josh and nine great grandchildren.
