With hearts full of love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt, Teresa G. Loera. Born on September 29, 1962, Teresa peacefully joined the Lord on March 27, 2025, at the age of 62. Her life was a testament to love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. Teresa was welcomed into eternal rest by her loving parents, Macaria and Bernabe Loera; her sister, Evangelina Munoz; her niece, Guadalupe L. Munoz; and her brother-in-law, Thomas Fuller. She leaves behind a legacy of love, carried on by her life partner, Estela Ipina; her sisters, Rosa Castillo, Adela Fuller, Grace Elizalde, Sandy Martinez (Richard), Frances Loera (Alex), and Susan Davila; her brothers, Fred Loera (Irene), Carlos Loera, Bernabe Loera (Margie), and Martin Loera; along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, her cherished best friend, Bernadine Patterson, and an enormous community of friends. Teresa's warmth and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a rosary to follow at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Avenue, San Antonio, Texas.
A procession will leave from Porter Loring Mortuary at 9:00 a.m., on Friday, April 11, 2025. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1321 El Paso Street, San Antonio, Texas.
Friar Christian Martinez will officiate.
