

He is survived by his son Gregory S. Koehler and wife Jessica, daughter Paige D. Rios and her husband Gabriel. Additional survivors include brother-in-law Doug Fain and his wife Marylyn and brother-in-law Robert Oltman. He is also survived by seven grandchildren Brenden, Brett, Lacey, Nathanial Koehler, Diego and Juliet Rios and Matthew Baulch as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
Ted is preceded in death by parents Theodore and Mable Turner Koehler, brother Don Koehler and wife Marie, sister Wanda Giebelhausen and husband Warren, infant brother James Koehler, sister Betty Oltman, brother Morris Koehler and wife Joyce. Ted was raised on the Koehler Farm in rural Benson, Illinois until he joined the United States Air Force as an aircraft technician. He met Sharon in San Antonio, Texas and they were married on November 10, 1967.
Ted enjoyed many years of work in the automotive business as parts and service manager. In his spare time, he loved spending time with family and flying one of several small aircraft from Twin Oaks Municipal Airport in San Antonio, Texas.
