
A dedicated family practice physician, Dr. Hebert most recently worked with the Frank Tejeda Veterans Outpatient Clinic and was formerly Chief of Staff of Santa Rosa Medical Center, as well as having maintained a private practice in San Antonio.
Dr. Hebert graduated from Louisiana State University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Science and a Doctorate of Medicine, after having served in the Unites States Navy as a non-commissioned officer.
An avid golfer, Dr. Hebert also enjoyed boating and hunting. A long time resident of San Antonio, Dr. Hebert was born October 24, 1925, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Reva M. Hebert; son, Thomas J. Hebert; daughter, Patricia D. Frazor and parents, Joseph and Emelda Hebert.
He is survived by son, Jon R. Hebert; grandson, Matthew Hebert; granddaughters, Candace Frazor, Chelsea Frazor and Stephanie Frazor; brothers Alvin and Joe Hebert, sister, Ruby Castillo, as well as nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law Gerri E. Williams and husband, Mark and Robyn B. Whitfield and husband, Gregory; great nephew, Matthew R. Williams and great niece, Leigh A. Williams.
