He was born in Lansing, Michigan to Clarence and Doris Hoffner. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He was currently working as an RN Case Manager, Warrior Transition Battalion Charlie Company at Fort Sam Houston.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Donna L. Miller; children: Jon Christian Hoffner and wife Jennifer, and Kristen Lynn Barnes and husband Johnnie E. Barnes III; granddaughter, Sadie Lynn Barnes; brother, Terry Hoffner, sisters, Sherry Augenstein and Shelley Prosser.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2015, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
