

He was born on June 4, 1918, in Bryceland, LA, to Thomas and Maude Peddy.
Tom was a proud WW II Veteran who served as a squadron commander of the 819th Bombardment Squadron, 30th Bomb Group, 7th Air Force, Army Air Corps.
His awards include The Distinguished Flying Cross, Bronze Star, Legion of Merit, Air Force Commendation Medal.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gladys Baker Peddy; and sister, Avis Durrett.
Survivors include his son, LTC. John T. Peddy Sr., daughter in law Janet Peddy of Fair Oaks Ranch; a grandson, John T. Peddy, Jr. of Dallas; and a granddaughter, Julie Ann Peddy Jolley and husband Cameron, a great-grandson, Hunter James of San Antonio, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 9, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
