He was the Principal of Robey Architecture and left a lasting mark on the city of San Antonio and other communities through his design work on civic, residential, commercial, and religious structures. An avid cyclist and skier, Thom found joy on the road or in the mountains.
Thom was preceded in death by his parents, William R. Robey and Margaret E. Robey, and by his brothers, James A. Robey and Carl S. Robey.
He was a devoted and deeply loving father and is survived by his son, Austin Thomas Robey, and nephew, Grant S. Robey, who was like a son to him.
He is also survived by his beloved partner, Denise, and his niece, Carey M. Robey, for whom he cared deeply. His surviving siblings include Patricia A. (Patrick E.) Riley, William L. Robey, Sr., Paul C. Robey, and Susan E. Robey.
In addition, he leaves behind his beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, along with many other family members who loved him dearly.
Services Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th, at 1:00 PM at Porter Loring Mortuary (1101 McCullough Ave) followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM.
