He is proceeded in death by both his parents and his brother Juan Salazar, daughter Melissa Hernandez; great granddaughter, Anastasia Dehoyos and ex-wife, Cookie Lara
He is survived by his sisters, Maria Salazar, Margarita Dorsey, and Yolanda Salazar; his wife, JoAnn Salazar; children, Dee Yolanda Hernandez (Joe Louis), Shannon Flores (Lupita),Paula Hernandez(Erica), John Anthony Benitez Salazar (Gina), Sofia Madrid(Paul). He will be truly missed by family and friends.
Beloved by his 16 grandchildren 6 great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
