Thomas W. Trautman, age 71, passed away December 19, 2018. He was born on March 15, 1947 in Washington, D.C. to Leon and Dorothy Trautman. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Donanna, sister, Denise Karwoski-Trautman, son, Kevin Trautman. He is survived by his son and his wife, Robert and Victoria Trautman; daughter-in-law, Deanna Trautman Mendez; grandchildren, Tiffany, Robert II, Cassandra, Stephanie, Gabrianna Trautman and great grandchildren, Jason Trautman, Evelynn Shepard and Devin Gonzalez.
Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 28, 2018 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on January 2, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. with U.S. Air Force military honors.
A man of honor, Thomas, was a stranger to no one. He touched the lives of everyone around him. He was a member of the Blue Knights, extremely proud of his years of service in the Air Force and law enforcement. He is reunited with the love of his life and his son, rest in peace.
