Thomas "Kamran" Yasseri, a devoted father, loyal friend, and man of quiet strength, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on December 24, 1954, Thomas lived a life defined by courage, perseverance, and deep love for those around him.
Thomas proudly served as a pilot in the Iranian Air Force. During the Iranian Revolution of 1979, he made the life-altering decision to leave his homeland and come to the United States in pursuit of freedom, opportunity, and a better future. That bravery and resilience shaped the rest of his life.
In the United States, Thomas built a meaningful career grounded in hard work and integrity. During the 1980s, he served as a General Manager for Jim’s Restaurants, where he was known for his leadership, dedication, and genuine care for his teams. After Jim’s, Thomas worked for Motel 6, a role he truly enjoyed, finding fulfillment in hospitality and connecting with people from all walks of life.
Later in his career, Thomas joined Entrust Solutions as a Communications Engineer, a position he enjoyed very much and took great pride in. He valued both the work itself and the relationships he formed during his time there.
Above all else, Thomas was a loving and caring man. He cherished his friendships deeply and had an extraordinary ability to make others feel welcomed and valued. His warmth, generosity, and steady presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Thomas is survived by his beloved children, Daniel Gomez, Robert Gomez, Rosalie Gomez, and Jessica Gomez. He is also lovingly remembered by his niece and nephews, Mina-Nicole Sandberg, Sharre Yasseri Blomqvist, and Damian (Homat) Ardestani, all of whom he loved very much.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts. We'll see you soon!
