Thomas "Tommy" E. Zitelman

Thomas “Tommy” E. Zitelman, age 43, passed away on February 15, 2020. He was born in Houston, Texas on June 10, 1976. Tommy loved swimming. He was deeply loved by his family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Tommy was preceded in death by his birth father, Richard S. Zitelman. He is survived by his mother and father, Mary Nell and Dale Doan; his grandmother, Maxine G. Bordelon “Dumby Dear”; his life partner, Christophe Mays; his brothers, Michael T. Doan and wife, Sandy and Jason D. Doan and wife, Shawna; his beloved Chihuahua fur babies, Trey and Speck; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st from 6-8 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with a Memorial Service to be held at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to San Antonio Pets Alive (a no kill shelter) at www.sanantoniopetsalive.org.
