Tom Murray

Tom graduated from Southwest Texas State. He was married to Gayle Murray and Judy Murray, who both preceded him in passing.

Tom worked as a peace officer in Texas, after his time serving our country in the United States Air Force and in homeland security. He retired from the Air Force at the rank of Master Sergeant. Later in life, Tom became a Freemason.

Tom is survived by his sons Allen and James Murray; step daughters Donna Franz and Patricia Fletcher; grandchildren Jones Murray, Hudson Murray, Lindsey Murray, Colin Murray, Ty Murray, Judith-Olivia Murray, Dylan Smith, Hollie Smith, Jerricah Franz and Matthew Franz, Morgan Fletcher and Brandon Fletcher.

Tom is preceded in passing by his two wives and his daughter Andrea Murray-Smith.

A visitation for Tom will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218. A committal service will occur Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas 78218.
