George Thomas Weathers of San Antonio, TX, age 78 passed away April 16, 2005. He was born July 31, 1926 in Tom, Ok to Charles E. and Mary Golden Weathers. He retired from Dresser Industries after 32 years; during that time he was located in Canada, South America, Europe and North Africa as well as the south central U. S. Tom was past president of the Society of Professional Well Logging Analysts of Fort Worth.
Tom attended Thousand Oaks Church. He was known for his ready smile and always cheerful attitude. He was preceded in death by his son David Wayne, daughter-in-law Annie and grandson Dale Wayne Weathers, his parents, 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Tom is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothy K. Weathers; granddaughter, Hannah Joy Weathers of Fort Worth, TX; sisters, Bea Light and Mary Jo McDonald of Oklahoma; numerous nephews and nieces.
