Our beloved Trinidad (Trini) Cancino Ramos departed to go home to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and Our Blessed Virgin Mary on September 7, 2024. Trinidad Cancino was born in Wilmington, California on September 29, 1928. She spent most of her life in Cleveland, Ohio married to her husband Dolores Ramos (deceased). The remainder of her life she spent with her loving partner of more than 30 years, José Antonio Cora. Trini leaves behind her son, Gilbert Jimenez, and two daughters, Mary Lou Ramos Brown and Neli Ramos Nelz. For many years, Trini owned and operated a local store in Cleveland on East 49th Street and then worked at TRW Automotive in Seven Hills, Ohio. Everyone knew her as a strong, hard-working and dedicated mother, wife and neighbor. She retired and moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1996, enjoying retirement with her family and friends. Trini enjoyed cooking large meals for her family, she loved to take family vacations and travel the world, and she was always eager to dance and celebrate. She was most happy when her whole family was all together. Trini was blessed with a beautiful family and leaves behind six beloved grandchildren, Rosalia Brown Arora, David Brown, Austin Nelz, Tiffany Nelz, Gilbert Jimenez Jr. (deceased) and Glynnis Jimenez Harris. Her other beloved family members whom she leaves behind are Omaira Jimenez, Randy Nelz, Sal Arora, Ellen Brown and Adam Harris. Her three great grandchildren whom she adored are Mirabel Trinidad Arora, Sonia Marie Arora and Everett Michael Brown. A celebration of Trini’s life will be held on December 18th, 2024 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home and her ashes will be laid to rest immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery, both located in San Antonio, Texas.
