Trey always wanted to make us proud of him and truly did when he surprised us by being an Organ Donor. The day of Trey's organ donation surgery the hospital honored him by having the nursing staff line the hallways from his room in ICU to the OR as a "March of Honor" and an Organ Donation Flag was flown at half mass in front of the hospital in honor of his surgery. Look at our God, to let Trey live on through others, and allow our Baby Boy go with such honor. Trey would have loved it! We have also been notified that Trey's name will be on the hospital wall in his honor. We know he is happy now and he will continue to live in our hearts and through others.
We would like to thank our family and friends for their outpouring support and love during this difficult time. A special thanks to the Executive Staff, Nursing (3rd floor ICU), Shelia Cochran, and others at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital. The staff at Methodist Stone Oak were amazing and showed us such compassion during and after our time there.
