CMSgt Knute A. Horn, USAF (Ret.), age 73, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, January 25, 2013 in San Antonio. He was born on March 8, 1939, in Galesville, WI to parents, Knute and Edna Horn. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force for 31 years and served God as a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes. Knute was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ken. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janice; children, Karen Crow and husband, Britt, Kevin Horn and wife, Terri, Kirsti Smith and husband, Skip; eight grandchildren, Brady, Megan, Brittanie, Ashley, Dillon, Amanda, Katelyn, and Sarah; one great-grandchild, Shane; sister, Ann; brother, George. A Visitation will be held at Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes at 2:00 P.M.
