A proud Unites States Air Force veteran of 29 years, Maj. Young was born to Robert and Ina Young on October 2, 1958 in Harrison, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Gene Young and Ina Fern Arndt.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Rozena "Rose" Young; sister, Rhonda Young; brother-in-law, Greg Young; children, Kyle Young and Nicole Villela; son-in-law, Martin Villela and daughter-in-law, Monica Young; grandchild, Jet Young and many loving family members and great friends.
Visitation will begin on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with a Procession leaving at 12:45 p.m. from Porter Loring Mortuary North to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road for a Graveside Service at 1:15 p.m.
