

He was born in Cedartown, GA on August 8, 1933 to Sam and Eunice Wilson and grew up in Perry, GA. He was a graduate of Perry High School in 1951, Middle Georgia Junior College in 1953 (where he met the love of his life, Sara); he claimed to be a "slow" learner receiving his B.S degree in 1964 and his Master's Degree in 1982.
He joined the Air Force in 1953, retiring as a Command Pilot with over 10,000 hours of flying time. During his Air Force Career, he took part in the Bay of Pigs, Suez Canal Crisis and numerous other missions including a one year tour in Vietnam. He was a Baptist all of his life and an active member of Shearer Hills Baptist Church for the past ten years. Bo was a man of God who loved his country and his family. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 siblings, daughter, Patti in May of 2013 and son, Sam in Oct, 2014.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sara E. Wilson; daughter, Cynthia C. Wilson; daughter-in-law, Brenda Wilson; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. He loved his fellow man and everyone who knew him will remember his hugs.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 17, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
