Vick was born in Brownwood, Texas to Larry A. Garmon and Ivie Mae (Kendrick) Garmon. He graduated from UTSA while working as a meter reader for the City Water Board. Ultimately, he became an executive with City Water Board and proudly served as a Master Sargeant with the Army National Guard.
Vick had a passion for travel and loved to share his favorite places and restaurants with friends and family. He loved a long road trip and a five o’clock cocktail. He enjoyed a good Texas two-step or schottische, especially with a beautiful woman. He was generous with his time and concern for others and would always ask what he could do to help.
Vick and his family thank the wonderful caregivers at the Laurel, Discovery Village, and Hope Hospice for the love and concern they gave to Mr. Vick.
Visitation will be at noon on April 12, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218 followed by a service at 1:00pm.
