

He was one of a generation who proudly served his country with valor in the US Army during WWII. He left behind an endearing love for family and a legacy of hard work.
Victor was a loyal employee of George A. Hormel Company and retired after 31 years of service.
He was a very dedicated servant of the Lord and served as a deacon for many years.
Victor is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Carolina Sauceda.
He is survived by his children: Daniel Cruz (Gloria); Victor Cruz, Jr. (Rebecca); Bertha Alvarez (Ernest); Robert Cruz (Dolores); Ernest Cruz (Charlotte) and Oscar Cruz (Alicia); grandchildren: Daniel Jr. (Laura), David (Gladys), Eric, Aaron, Deana, Vicente (Anita), Roxanne (Stuart); great grandchildren: Mitchel, Matthew, Grace, Faith, Clayton, Tristan, Jayden, Vicente and Liliana; numerous nieces and nephews; many wonderful friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
