Victor E. Hancock, age 73, went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2012 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on July 19, 1939 in New Orleans, LA to Victor & Alice Hancock. He retired from the U.S. Army as a CW3 serving 26 years. He also retired from Civil Service (Ft. Sam Houston) after 22 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Louise Hancock.
Mr. Hancock is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Hancock; daughter, Valerie Smith & husband Eric; son, David M. Hancock; grandson, Stephen Alexander Smith; brother, Charles Hancock; 2 step-children, Larry Fleming, Jr. & Kimberly St. John; 4 step-grandchildren; several step-brothers, step-sisters, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
