Victoria Q. Pena

Victoria Q. Pena passed away on September 19, 2019 at the age of 88 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on November 17, 1930 in Calexico, CA. She is preceded in death by her loving husband John Pena, Jr. She is survived by her daughter: Socorro Rice (Steven); grandchildren: Edward Anthony De La Garza (Janie), Gina Morales (Andres), Roberta De La Garza (Richard Alvarado), Pamela De La Garza (Richard Pedrizine), Cameron De La Garza (Janie), Petra De La Garza (Edward Rivera), America Gray (Jim Baldone), Frankie Gray (Ernest Gutierrez); numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren along with other loving family members and friends.

Victoria was a loving mother and grand-mother. She was her children’s biggest supporter and at times their best friend. She loved un-conditionally and without judgement. She will be truly missed, but never forgotten.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 6pm-9pm at Sunset Funeral Home with a prayer service beginning at 7pm. A graveside service will be held the next day on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 10:00am at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
