I remember the time Jordan, Bernal and Sul Ross ALE classes wnt to the hockey game during the school day. It was the first time many of our kids had this experience. Vince and I were happy to see the smiles on our students faces. Of course we also enjoyed messing with Michon Charles and Lea Arndt our co-workers. We are truly work family. 

Vince, was incredible with my daughter Katie.  I remember last year when I met him for the first time.  I had asked for a face to face meeting to speak about my daughter.  While I was with Vince, my daughter called me (Face Time).  Vince asked if that was Katie, I said yes and he took the phone from me and said "let me talk to her"  I loved it ! Katie was shocked at first, since they had never met, but then spoke with him as though they had known each other for ever.  He had a way about him with the kids.  He will be missed.

Thank you Vince, for all that you did for Katie and the other kids in your class.

We met Vince & Kim as neighbors and shared being first time homeowners, newly married then a few years later started our families around the same time.  We have so many great memories but some of my favorites are of the boys playing and swimming in the drive way.  Vince definitely left an impression on our hearts.  We loved keeping up with you guys, mostly through social media but sure wish we had spent more time together.  We are keeping Kim, Justin, Hannah and the entire Arnall/Wenzel family and friends close in our hearts and prayers.   


Vince and I worked together at Brandeis High School. I doubt anyone would argue, he had the most difficult teaching gig on campus. His students needed his attention, every second, of every hour, every day. And they got it. He treated his kids like, well, his kids.

I on the other hand was just a normal teacher. But Vince often needed help with meetings for his students. It was plain to see he felt awkward requesting assistance. You see, Vince didn’t actually need any help at all. But in order to facilitate all the requirements of these meetings, he had to have a “regular” teacher in addition to himself. 

Now teachers remain relatively isolated throughout their day. We tend to get a little territorial when it comes to our classroom. Not Vince. He invited me into his classroom to observe (and participate) many, many times. He was as welcoming to me as he was his students. He provided an environment that was fun and safe. Even safe to be wrong. He was unflappable. The dude never missed a step. It was amazing to behold. 

I was supposed to be your 6th 7th and 8th grade student thru the year but you moved to brendise i herd from paulina and mary that you had a "whooping stick" for jr cuz he fell asleep but I will miss you.... I never met you but my sister  and paulina met you they are so lucky 😭

Mr.Arnall was one of my son's teacher at Sul Ross. The one think I will always remember about Mr. Arnall he was very careing and he believed in his students that they can learn. He will be Missed.

I lived next door to Kimberly and Vince for a short time on Stormy Autumn. They were a young couple just starting out and pregnant with their son,  then they moved and list touch. My heart goes out to family and friends Kimberly and the kids! May God watch over you and may you find comfort in his loving arms!        

Vince and I started at Chase Bank in 2001, and became fast friends!!  We both had birthdays in October, graduated hs the same year and always joked that we were supposed to be friends cause we were so alike.  Vince was so kind, loving, hilarious and loved his family.  I’m so grateful that he came into my life, he made this world a better place.  May you rest in paradise my friend, until we meet again.  

I remember meeting Vince around 1998 when Kim introduced us as at a family Christmas gathering. He was friendly, talkative and a fun guy to be around. Always seemed to be in a good mood. Even the last time I saw him when I visited him in the hospital he had a smile and was in good spirits. Had a lot of fun playing dominoes with him to. He loved his family so much.  He will be missed a lot.

I had just started at NISD @ Ross and met Vince and his co teacher.  Vince was a very friendly guy and I enjoyed our visits.  He cared deeply for the students and it was obvious when we worked with them in my workshop.  I have an interest in working with special needs and Vince helped me to get a summer job working with special needs students.  I will miss him very much.  Prayers for him and his family.

Vince was truly the best person I have ever known.   First and foremost, he was the BEST dad ever.  Since the first day I met him, I could tell that Hannah and Justin were his world.  He also adored Kim beyond words.   Them together was always so much fun. 

Vince was the most honest, unselfish and FUNNY friend!  Kim and my husband, Scott, years ago finally removed themselves from our text string group conversations between the four of us. They said they got sick of the constant “dings” from the constant back and forth texts between Vince and myself.  Nine times out of ten, they were a funny gif or photo or edited-photo in an attempt to make each other laugh.  Vince was a master at The Face In Hole App...He’s made hundreds if not thousands that add his face or one of ours’ or the kids into other photos.   I’ve laughed until I’ve cried more times than I can count from his texts. 

There is a group of our boys who became very good friends years and years ago...and who would have known that their parents would also become best friends?!  Vince has been the one that has set the standard for us all to follow in being a friend.  He showed us all that this life is about spending it with your family most of all, and with friends that lift you up and make you laugh.  Over the years when we have needed advice, we always have gone to Vince.  He always knows the right thing to do.  He’s never said a bad thing about anyone ever.   But at the same time he is always honest.  

Vince was my best friend.  I can’t imagine this life without him.  He made the world better. He made everything better.  He made everyone better.  I hope we all make him proud by trying to live the way he lived.  

Those that knew Vince knew what was important to him: family. He never missed one of Justin or Hannah’s events. He supported Kim in her running and was on the sidelines for every race. He loved his students and developed a relationship with them and their families that went beyond the walls of the classroom.

He was the friend you could call in a crisis. He was the friend in the group that volunteered to drive or pick up the kids. He never complained or spoke ill of others. 

He loved vacationing with his family and became a real estate agent to ensure they had extra money for their adventures. 

Vince will be missed! 

Many moons ago I was honored to meet Vince. We met our freshman year as that’s when Batesville students merged with Uvalde students.  He welcomed me to the campus and showed me where to go.  Every time we saw each other he made me feel welcomed.  When my life was in crisis he was there for me. He helped me through the time both my parents were on life support.  My senior year was only possible because of the kindness and words of encouragement to finish my senior for my parents.   I loved all the laughs he shared with all. His heart was one of a kind. Rest In Peace my friend.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Dean Arnall.  Vince is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 18 years, Kimberly.  Vince’s legacy will live on proudly through Vince and Kim’s two children, Justin and Hannah.  He is also survived by his mother , Elda Arnall; sister, Jennifer and her husband, Peter; two brothers, Eddie and Chris and his wife , Natalie; nieces, Andria, Addie, and Bella; nephews, Alex, Blake, and Logan; and brother-in law, Kevin and wife, April.
