Virgilio Crespo-Velez, 88, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011. He was born in Lares, Puerto Rico on May 29, 1922 to Dionisio Crespo and Julia Velez. He was preceded in death by his wife, Oralia Garza Crespo in 1983. He retired as a Sergeant First Class from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service and then served with the U.S. Government Civil Service as a dietician. He is survived by his children, Orlando Crespo and wife Julia, Jacqueline Crespo, Arnoldo Crespo and wife Veronica; Oralia Crespo-Wood; grandchildren, Julissa Crespo, Julia Crespo and husband Joshua Matias, Orlissa Crespo, Oralissa Crespo, Orlando Julian Crespo, Edevirgilio Crespo, Angelee Crespo, Cecilia Oralia Crespo, Fernando Crespo-Wood, Virgilio Crespo-Wood, Mauricio Crespo-Wood; great grandchildren, Adriel Crespo, Matthew Crespo, Carlos Julian Crespo and Natalie Jelian Crespo; brothers, Fito Crespo, Clodomiro Crespo and Adolfo Crespo.
