Virginia Myers Papp

June 28, 1948-February 28, 2015

Virginia Myers Papp, age 66, of San Antonio, TX died Saturday, February 28, 2015. Virginia received her BS from West Virginia University, her MS from SUNY and her MBA from NYU. Mrs. Papp taught science in New York City. After retirement, she lived for a time in Palatine, IL, then moved to San Antonio in 2004 where she has explored her creativity with mixed media, paper arts, and journaling. Virginia was born in Monroe, MI to Clinton Lawson Myers and Virginia Marie McBride both of whom have preceded her in death, as did her husband Joseph David Papp. Three of her siblings also preceded her in death.

She is survived by sister, Gail Myers Jones, of San Antonio. She is also survived by many other family members including nephew, Michael Jones (Rosalie Trevino), their children Ethan, Alexander, Madison, Hunter and Arizona all of San Antonio; nephew, Patrick Jones (Christina Patterson) of San Antonio; niece, Sara Jones of San Antonio, and niece Christine Warden (John Warden) their children Chloe and Leila of Highlands, NJ. Virginia will be missed by all of her family and many friends.

Memorial Services will be private.
