Virginia G. Soto

Virginia G. Soto passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the age of 76 in San Antonio, Texas. Born February 6, 1945, she is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos A. Gonzales and Trinidad Valadez Gonzales; her husband, Manuel R. Soto Jr.; her brother, Carlos Gonzales Jr.; and her sister-in-law, Oralia Valadez.

Virginia is survived by her son, Carlos G. Soto (Claudia); her grandchildren, Manuel Soto and Valerie Soto; her siblings, Mike Valadez and three sisters; and her numerous nephews and nieces, cousins and friends who all loved Virginia and will miss her deeply.

The family would like to especially thank Mayra Smith and Maribel Flores for their loving care and attention they gave to Virginia. The comfort you have provided has meant so much.

Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Trevino Funeral Home – 226 Cupples Road 78237 – will be limited to 100 people in the building at a time.

The family will be receiving friends for the Visitation on Monday, September 13 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Tuesday, September 14, a Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 AM in the chapel, followed by the Burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery – 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road 78209 – at 11:30 AM.
