Virginia Rodriguez Valerio

Virginia Rodriguez Valerio, born in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico, on May 20, 1940, was called home to be with the Lord, on July 16, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her partner, in life, Roberta D. Riojas; her beloved grandson, Aldo Rey Valerio, Jr. and her loving parents, Maria B. Rodriguez and Gilberto Valerio. Virginia was a loving partner, mother, grandmother and friend to many and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her loving son, Aldo Rey Valerio (Rosemary); sister, Francisca Rodriguez; nieces, Patricia Varela and Terry Molina; grandchildren, Alana Rhaye Valerio, Brittany Garberson, Conner Garberson and numerous other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78237, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am Mass of the Resurrection at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
