Wallace W. Beck, age 78, of San Antonio, TX, died Saturday, January 18, 2003. He was a member of the Corps of Cadets at Texas A & M. He remained an avid Aggie fan and supporter his entire life. After retirement from Texas Military Institute, he devoted his efforts to researching the history of German settlements in Texas. He served as a mentor to many students that developed into a lifetime of relationships. Wallace is survived by his wife, Doris Beck and loving family and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 19, 2003 at Porter Loring Mortuary North from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M
