He was born on October 14, 1945 in East St. Louis, MO, to parents, Francis Bernard and Bertie Mae Brockmeyer, and graduated from Cathedral High School Belleville, IL in 1963.
William graduated from St. Louis School of Pharmacy in 1969; he also served 6 years in the Army Reserve. He was in nuclear medicine for 25 years and retired from GE Health in June of 2007. William was a life member of the Park Place Lodge No. 1172, A.F. & A.M., Houston, TX. He was an active member of Alzafar Shrine Golf and Hospital Unit.
Bill was also a life member of the American Trap Shooting Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill is survived by his wife, Denice Brockmeyer; daughter, Cheryl Alderman; granddaughter, Taylor Leigh Smart; and sister, Marian Joyce Wigley.
