William John Calhoun Jr.

William John Calhoun Jr., born August 16, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA, to William John Calhoun, Sr., and Maureen Bridget Calhoun. He joined the Air Force after college where he served with pride, reaching the rank of First Lieutenant, and where he met and married fellow Air Force officer Laura Dianne. John spent over forty years in Civil Service, providing unfailingly for his family. He was a faithful and loving husband and father and known to be a generous friend, a competent and intelligent man with a sense of humor. He passed away on February 17, 2020 at the age of 71.

He is preceded in death by his wife of forty-six years, Laura Dianne Calhoun. William is survived by his son, William John Calhoun III; daughter, Laura Maureen Calhoun; sister, Christine M. Joes, and by his mother in-law, Annie Whitehead.
