Dear Pinner Family: It is with great admiration and respect that I offer my condolences on the death of William Pinner. I recently learned that he was a veteran of World War II; a member of the Greatest Generation. I too come from a proud military family, as such, I honor the contributions William Pinner has made. 
My late father-in-law, Henry Van de Putte Sr., was a Navy pharmacist mate aboard the U.S.S. South Hampton, which saw action in the Pacific, including Iwo Jima. My great uncle Nicolas Estrada was at the Battle of the Bulge and later served as a bailiff at the Trials of Nuremberg. Please know that he is mourned even by those of us who weren't fortunate enough to know him personally. 
As Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I appreciate his sacrifices on behalf of our great nation. God bless you and your family during this difficult time. Warm Regards,

Bill Pinner, as all and I knew him but most would call him Bill, 'you' are surely going to be missed, I know I am. I am very sadden of your departure, but happy in a way, with "joy" Why! you! will be joining our Lord! with open arms and smiling with glory walking through those gates of haven without any worries. Your be a peace with our Lord just waiting patiently, guiding and watching over your dearest, lovely the one and only one, the one who matters the most to you Pinky. We will miss you Bill, your stories and all, may our Lord guide you as well may you rest in peace, it was sure a pleasure knowning you, I thank you.  I was so sorry to read about Bill's passing. I often wondered if the two of you were still living in Kingsville. I remember coming over to your house, and the two of you always greeted me with a smile and a hug. I know that he was the love of your life, and you were the love of his life as well. That was so evident in your marriage. I'm sure you will miss him dearly. I will be praying for you, and I hope the Lord will grant you peace,understanding, and strength during the coming weeks and months.
