He was a Golden Glove boxing champion, and boxed for the U.S. Army. Afterwards, he became the owner of a successful floor covering business.
Following his retirement, Willie became a real estate agent. Willie was very well liked and respected. Those who knew him will remember him as friendly and outgoing.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Joe Trader; and daughter, Sandra Bruce Johnson. Survivors: sons, Harry Trader and his wife, Elizabeth, Michael Trader and his wife, Angela; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Larry Trader and his wife, Linda.
