

CPL Xavier Frederick Wiedner, USMC, born November 15, 1994, passed away suddenly on February 14, 2023 at the age of 28. Xavier was a graduate of Marshall High school and received his Bachelor’s degree from University of Texas at San Antonio. Xavier served his country in the United States Marine Corp.
Xavier was an exemplary young man that had a very bright future. Xavier was an awesome and amazing person. He was loved by so many, more than he ever imagined. He was kind, dependable, and willing to help whenever help was needed. He was always there to lend an ear to a friend in need. Xavier was extraordinary and accomplished so much with his time on earth. He enjoyed and lived life to the fullest. His uniqueness was of a type that cannot be forgotten easily and he will be greatly missed by all.

Xavier is survived by his parents, Frederick and Sandra, as well as younger sister Alexandria Wiedner; Aunts’: Elizabeth (Rob) McMahon, Destiny Michelle Mendez; Uncles’: Robert L. (Marie) Mendez, Jr., Michael R. (Destiny) Mendez; Grandpa David L and Grandma Olivia W Carranza and Grandma Nel Rose Mendez. He is preceded in death by his Aunt Jacqueline Guajardo; Grandpa Robert L Mendez and Grandma Linda Garcia.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on March 06, 2023 from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm. A full military funeral service will be held on March 7, 2023 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home at 8:45 am to 9:45 am with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:15 am to 10:45am.
