Yadira Rivera-Almeida

eYadira Rivera-Almeida, age 41, entered eternal life on October 16, 2021, after battling years of respiratory illnesses. She was born on May 4, 1980 in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico to Frankie Rivera-Torrez and Beatriz Evelina Hernandez Ramirez. She relocated with her family to San Antonio, TX in 2000. She met her future husband to be, Arturo Almeida, in January of 2002 and began creating a family shortly thereafter. She went on to complete her medical assistant certification. She was beautiful with a great sense of humor. She was loud, outspoken, friendly, and a social butterfly. But her most amazing qualities were being a loving and caring mother and wife to her family. She was loyal, dependable, and always ready to help out her family and friends when they were in need. She will be greatly missed and in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her only daughter, Athalia A. Almeida; maternal-grandmother, Carmen H. Ramirez; paternal-grandmother, Lydia Baxter; uncle, Eduardo H. Ramirez; and cousin, Norman Alexis Lamboy.

She is survived by her husband, Arturo Almeida; sons, Madison J. Fernandez, Armando Almeida, Angel Almeida, and Auzzy Almeida; parents, Frankie Rivera-Torrez and Beatriz Evelina Hernandez Ramirez; siblings, Juan C. Rivera, Priscilla J. Morales, Jose M. Rivera, Frankie Rivera, Jermaine M. Rivera, and Ashanti Rivera.

Viewing will be held Monday, October 25, 2021 beginning at 5:00pm with a Service to follow at 6:00pm at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 N. Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX. 78232. For those that are unable to attend, a live stream will be available to view at www.porterloring.com
